Our founder, Brandon Burrow, is the man behind this idea. The inspiration behind this idea is he was purchasing books for the start of his fall semester junior year, and began to grow frustrated.  He did not want to pay full price for his textbooks, but he also did not want to pay for all the markups that come with purchasing books from other book exchange services. With these two factors he developed the idea of BookTap, where customers don't pay full price nor do they pay for crazy markups!
